Case study

VP Recycling Materials: a website contractors can actually use.

A San Diego concrete and asphalt recycling facility had a single-page web presence that didn't say what it accepted or how to get there. In September 2026 it got a complete site, five local search pages and a lead system.

The situation

Real demand, invisible business

Contractors and haulers in San Diego County search for where to dump concrete and asphalt every day. VP Recycling Materials accepts both, but its only web presence was a basic single-page site on an old domain. It didn't list materials, didn't explain the dump rules, and gave searchers no reason to choose it over the next result.

The build

Delivered in days, not months

  • New site on vprecycle.com: Home, Materials, Dump Rules, Location, Contact and legal pages
  • Five search landing pages: San Diego, Chula Vista, San Diego County, asphalt recycling, concrete recycling, all generated from one data file so new areas and materials can be added in minutes
  • Facility visuals produced with AI image generation and a hero video created from the hero still
  • Click-to-call, map link and hours on every page; a short contact form with attribution
  • Footer with map, contact panel, privacy, terms and sitemap on every page
  • Fast modern hosting, bare domain primary, old domain redirecting, DNS configured without disturbing the office email

Why it was built this way

Every page has a job

The Dump Rules page answers the questions haulers ask before they drive over, which shortens phone calls and filters out loads the facility can't take. The Materials page exists so search engines and AI answers can cite exactly what's accepted. The five landing pages match how contractors actually search: by city, by county and by material. And because they come from a single data file, the owner's next expansion is a few lines of text rather than a rebuild.

What happens next

Measured from month one

The build was the foundation. The marketing phase that follows, Google Business Profile optimization, organic search, paid ads and a review program, begins with tracking already in place, so results are reported in leads and loads rather than guessed. When those numbers are in, they'll appear here.
